Every year I have the opportunity to donate my art work for auction to various organizations to help raise money for their very worthwhile causes. This year one of the groups I've chosen to donate to is Ballet Austin which is the 11th largest classic ballet company in the U.S. In addition to their amazing performances, they support many community outreach educational programs throughout Central Texas which includes scholarships to Ballet Austin Academy founded in 1956.
I will have three large-scale paintings on display which will be included in the live auction at Ballet Austin Fete which is their annual fundraising gala event. The winning bidder will get to choose one of the three abstract works of art. The three paintings included are: "Matador", "The Conclave" and "Untitled" all mixed media encaustic pieces that are 60" x 72" each.
It's always a pleasure for me when I have the opportunity to give back to such worthy causes in some small way. Onward and upward with the arts!
